Why this Blog

The pursuit of peace, whether between nations, communities, or couples, must never be abandoned no matter how unattainable it may seem.

This is a site for pilgrim souls who are dedicated to steering America in a new and more peaceful direction as we face human rights challenges throughout the world. This is a site that will offer information to help voters understand the issues and encourage more of us to make our voice heard in the 2008 Presidential election. This is a site for pilgrim souls who understand that peace on a larger scale begins by creating harmony one by one with those in our immediate world. This is a site born in the anguish of letting go of one life and embracing another. Some people accept life for what it is and feel no need to question. But I am one of those destined to go on searching for a life that some might think beyond our reach. And I am not alone. There are countless others who continue to look for deeper meaning in our lives and relationships. We grieve uncontrollably over the loss of those we love through death or breakup or war. We recognize that the pursuit of peace, whether between nations, communities, or couples, must never be abandoned no matter how unattainable it may seem.

This site is divided into three categories depending upon your level of interest:

  • healing on a personal level (mending relationships between friends and lovers)
  • creating peaceful relations internationally (movement toward the concept of world peace)
  • 2008 Presidential election (what party, what candidate, what foreign policy might accomplish the best for America and the world)
  • The Politics of Peace begins interpersonally and spreads internationally. Feel free to check in as often as you wish and to add your views whenever you are so inclined. The first step toward peace may be as simple as believing that it is possible. Achieving it must begin inside each of us and then spread one by one - one person, one community, one nation, one world.
